Rutha Berry

Mrs. Rutha Berry, age 88, of Dahlonega, GA, died April 11, 2010.

Mrs. Berry was a lifelong resident of Dahlonega.

She was the daughter of the late Johnnie Wesley Rider and Tinnie Seabolt Rider. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Berry; a daughter Evelyn Shapiro; sisters, Clifford Wilkins, Carrie Bingham, Madge Newberry, Oma Lee Black, Floye Moss, and Nettie Collins; brothers, Cardo Rider and Cicero Rider.

She is survived by her son; Raymond Berry, Dahlonega, GA; son-in-law, Mark Shapiro, Fountain Valley, California. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services for Mrs. Berry will be held Wednesday April 14, 2010 at 1:30 PM at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Phil Donehoo will officiate.

Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM.
