Ophelia R. Cook

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm Sunday April 11 in Antioch United Methodist Church for Ophelia Roark Cook age 87 of Gainesville. The Rev. Randy Strickland and Rev. Fred Whitley will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Cook passed away Thursday April 8 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Cook was born in Newnan Georgia to the late Victor Allen Roark and Nannie Sue McLean Roark. She had worked in the lunchroom at Lanier and Sardis Elementary Schools and was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James Dewey Cook.

Survivors include Sons Anthony Joseph Cook, Gainesville, William Wayne Cook, Lawrenceville, Daughter Sue Cook, Gainesville, 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
