Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Larry Paul Hogan, age 60, of Jefferson who passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2010. Mr. Hogan was born on June 29, 1949 in Jefferson, a son to the late Paul and Grace Phillips Hogan. Mr. Hogan was a retired Sorter with the U.S. Postal Service at the North Metro Branch, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Ledford Hogan, Jefferson; daughter, Kati Hogan, Jefferson; step-daughters, Becky Lee, Suwanee, Carol and Keith Poole, Gainesville; brothers, Ricky and Sharon Hogan, Commerce and David and Terry Hogan, Jefferson; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Mr. Jeffrey Bell officiating. The burial will follow in the White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. Honored as pallbearers will be Doug Malock, Keith Poole, Cliff Young, Shorty Hogan, Charles Boone and Darrell Hogan. The visitation will be held on Friday evening, April 9th, from 6:00-9:00pm at the funeral home.
