Michael Andrew Case

Michael Andrew Case, 28, of Clemson, SC, died Saturday April 3, 2010 following a sudden illness.

A native of Syracuse, NY, he had lived in Gainesville for a number of years. He was attending Clemson University obtaining his Doctorate in Mathematics. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps.

Survivors include his parents, Harry and Barbara Case of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and Jason Auyer of Gainesville; sister, Cheryl Case of Atlanta; nephews, Samuel and Levi Auyer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at Mason & Ward Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Paul Evans will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday April 5, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A private interment will be in held at a later date.
