Eva Mae Hill Allen

Eva Mae Hill Allen, age 88 of Sautee and formerly of Clarkesville, passed away Saturday, April 03, 2010, at Friendship Nursing Home following a period of declining health.

Born in Habersham County on May 12, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Edward Guy and Essie Lavada Sosebee Hill. Ms. Allen was a seamstress and of the Baptist faith. One of her most favorite past times was gardening. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Allen; daughter, Ozelle English Segers and brother, E. J. Hill.

Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Lavada & Bobby Warren of Demorest, Gail & Golden Barron of Sautee and Linda & Phil Garrison of Sevierville, TN; also surviving are nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Graveside services are 2:00 pm Monday, April 05, 2010, at Hazel Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Harris officiating. All friends and family are requested to meet at the cemetery at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite animal shelter.
