Verner Vaughn Adams, of 3110 Buice Circle, Gainesville, passed away on March 30, 2010 at Willow Wood Nursing Home, after an extended illness. Verner was a World War II veteran stationed in Italy and loved talking about his time spent in the military. He was a member of New Holland Baptist Church for 45 years and a current member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church. He served his church as a deacon, a Sunday school teacher, helping with the youth and his love for God showed through him daily.
