Henry Homer Doster

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Henry Homer Doster, age 69, of Jefferson, who passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Mr. Doster, born August 25, 1940, in Jackson County, to the late, Homer Lee and Norma Reynolds Doster. He served many years as the Jackson County Tax Commissioner and was owner of Doster and Doster Builders. Mr. Doster was a member of Galilee Christian Church, and was a former member of the Pendergrass Volunteer Fire Department, the Jaycees and Lions Club; and served in the Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Sara Doster Seabolt and Foster Seabolt; nephew, Ronnie Seabolt.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Martin Doster of Jefferson. Daughter, Tammy Doster Buffington and her fiancé Mack Walker of Jefferson. Son, Darrell Lee Doster of Jefferson. His â
