Pauline Swafford Ansley, age 97, of Mt. Airy passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at her residence.

Mrs. Ansley was born in Macon County, on March 30, 1912, to the late Jess Andrew and Esta Mae Tallent Swafford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Ansley; son, James Everett Ansley; and daughter, Juanita Tanksley. She was a homemaker.
