Mildred Tucker Watson

Mrs. Mildred Tucker Watson, age 92, of Commerce has gone to her eternal home to be with her Lord; her husband, Charles; and son, Billy. She has left behind her son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Elaine Watson of Commerce; daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Pete Allen of Danielsville, and Carol and Jimmy Drake of Ila; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Watson of Lilburn; sisters, Edna Johnson of Commerce, Eloise Tucker of Commerce, and Sybil Simpkins of Commerce, 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Watson was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Commerce and retired from Commerce Manufacturing Company.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 31st at 11:00 AM from the First Baptist Church of Commerce with the Dr. Carlton Allen and Rev. Billy Owensby officiating with the interment following in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night, March 30th, from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Mrs. Watson had requested, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Commerce; 1345 South Elm St. Commerce, GA 30529.
