Rex N. Rogers

Funeral services for, Rex N. Rogers age 78 of Clermont will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday March 29,2010 in Strickland Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dean Bryant and Rev. Scott Strickland will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday March 28,2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Mamie Rogers and his brother G.D. Rogers. Mr. Rogers served in the U.S. Army as an M.P., he was employed by the postal service for 32 years in Clermont. He is survived by his wife, Francis Martin Rogers, Clermont his sons and daughter-in-laws, Tony and Debra Rogers of Texas, Tim Rogers and special friend Diane of Clermont, daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Harold Smith of Cleveland, Grandchildren, Justin, Nick, Sarah, Becky, Great-grandchildren, Brett, Iain,Darcy, Lena, sister, Irene Bohannon, brothers and sister-in-laws, Ted and Martha Rogers, of Cleveland, Wayne and Joanie of Gainesville sister-in-laws, Carolyn Vickers, Thelma Cox and Dean Gooch and a number if nieces and nephews.
