James Byron Fallaw

Ivie Funeral Home announces memorial services for James Byron Fallaw, 59, of Nicholson. Byron passed away March 25, 2010 at Hill Haven Nursing Home (Hospice) from Cancer. He was born and raised in Ridge Spring, SC. Byron was a transportation broker for 30 years and enjoyed coaching baseball and was a big fan of Nascar. He will always be remembered for his intelligence and love he showed to all that crossed his path. He is preceded in death by his father, James Fallaw; mother, Bessie Fallaw; sister, Phyllis Hartley; niece, Greta Price and nephews, Jay Carson and Barrett Taylor.

Byron is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sharon King Fallaw; sons, Randy (16) and Cody (14); sisters, Belinda Carson (Jimmy) of Beaufort, SC, and Judy Price (Mendal) of Gilbert, SC; brother-in-law, Henry Hartley of Summit, SC; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 4:00 pm from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Stowers officiating. By his request, Bryon wanted to be cremated.
