Blanche Lawson Barber

Graveside services for Blanche Lawson Barber, age 88 of Atlanta and formerly of Habersham County will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at 2:00 PM from Hills Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery in Clarkesville. Rev. Russ Barker will officiate.

Ms. Barber passed away peacefully at Serenity Personal Care Home is Jefferson on Monday, March 22, 2010.

Born on June 12, 1921, in Habersham County, Ms. Barber was the daughter of the late Joseph and Genie Williams Lawson. She was of the Presbyterian faith and was a member of the Eastern Star. Ms. Barber was a real estate agent with Homestead Realty Co. She was also a member of several real estate organizations throughout Georgia.

Survivors include son Richard Earl Barber of Duluth as well as several nieces and nephews.
