Christopher Lee Hulett

On March 22, 2010, Christopher Lee Hulett, 29, lost a hard fought battle with melanoma. Cancer took his life, but it never wavered his determination to LIVE. The intense pain ceased when his merciful LORD took Chris home.

Chris was the son of John Arthur Hulett of Nicholson and Denise Elaine (Marty) Gowder Parson of Maysville. He was married to Keni Carter Hulett of the residence. Other survivors include grandparents, Harold and Grace Gowder of Maysville, Sarah Hulett of Commerce, Dairl and Bonnie Parson of Maysville; in-laws, Ken and Abby Carter of Lavonia, Keith and Kandi Chavis of Toccoa; half-brothers, Charles Cavadel Hulett and Noah Jordan Hulett, both of Nicholson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joe and Hollie West of Lavonia, Joe and Deanna Holbrooks of Walhalla, SC; aunts, Kathy Casper, Jackie Epps, Sue Ellen Hulett, Joann Brown, Tammy Fields, Connie Gowder; uncle, Audry Gowder; nieces and nephews, Noah Gowder, Cheyenne Holbrooks, Johnathan West, Cloie Cartee.

Funeral services for Chris Hulett will be conducted on Thursday, March 25th at 2:00pm from Rock Solid Baptist Church in Maysville with Rev. Swayne Carlan and Rev. Gene Carlan officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday night, March 23rd and Wednesday night, March 24th from 6:00 to 9:00pm, and at other times at the home of Harold and Grace Gowder at 472 Gowder Road in Maysville.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Cancer Foundation of NE GA, PO Box 49309, Athens, GA 30604 or the Loren Smith Cancer Support Center at Athens Regional Hospital.
