Janice Harben

Janice Harben, 58, of Dawsonville died Friday March 19, 2010 at Embracing Hospice following an extended illness.

A lifelong resident of Dawson County, Janice was a graduate of Dawson County High School and Pickens Technical School with a degree in cosmetology. She was employed by the House of Beauty after which she owned and operated Uniport. She was a member of Amicalola Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a daughter, Danielle Harben.

Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Danny Harben, Dawsonville; son, Jason Harben, Dawsonville; mother, Aline Stephens, Dawsonville; father, Buddy Rowell, Dawsonville; sisters, Gayle Beebe, Dawsonville, Debbie Rowell, Dawsonville, Sherri Kelly, Dacula, Valerie Binning, Cumming, Vanessa Williams, Lebanon, TN; mother in law, Maude Harben, Dawsonville; sister in law, Shirley Ware, Dawsonville; brother in law, Sammy Harben, Dawsonville; and a number of other relatives.
