Joseph Ronald Dyer, age 70, of Flowery Branch passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Graveside services are scheduled for Monday, March 22, 2010 at 11:00 am in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 22, 2010 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
Mr. Dyer was born January 23, 1940 in Blairsville to the late Hedden Dyer and Dora Nix Dyer. He served in the U. S. Army and was retired from Rainwater Construction as a superintendent. Joseph was preceded in death by several other relatives.
Mr. Dyer is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Dyer of Oakwood; his son, Rodney Scott Hulsey of Sheffield Lake, Ohio; his granddaughter, Courtney Whiting of Oakwood; his sisters, Ruth Dyer of Murrayville, Patty Holland of Gainesville and Kay Nahser of Alabama; his brothers, Leonard Dyer of Gainesville, Wesley Dyer of Cleveland and Wendall Dyer of Cleveland.
