Richard Hurley

Memorial services for Richard Hurley, age 64, of Clarkesville will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at 2:00 PM at his residence at 177 Flintlock Lane, Clarkesville.

Mr. Hurley passed away Thursday, March 17, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness.

Born in Riverdale, Georgia on May 26, 1945, Mr. Hurley was the son of the late Joseph and Minnie Thompson Hurley. Mr. Hurley was a construction superintendent with Garrison Construction. In addition to his parents Mr. Hurley is preceded in death by brothers Joe and Wesley Hurley and a sister Margaret Halloway.

Survivors include his wife Beverly Barwick Hurley of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Connie and Charlie Muns of Dublin, daughter Crystal Hurley of Clarkesville, sons Jason Hurley, Patrick Hurley, and Ashley Hurley all of Clarkesville, sister Ollie Mae Martin of Palmetto, as well as three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
