Wilma Abercrombie Norman

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00a.m. Monday, March 22, 2010 in Alta Vista Cemetery for Mrs. Wilma Abercrombie Norman, age 83, of Marietta, formerly of Gainesville. The Rev. Danny McGill will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Norman passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Signature Healthcare following an extended illness.

Mrs. Norman was born and lived all her life in Gainesville until 2006 when she moved to Marietta. She was the daughter of the late Austin Young Abercrombie and Callie Davis Abercrombie. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Warren Norman, and was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Hugh and Kari Norman, Marietta; sister, Alma Faris, Vancouver, Washington; grandchildren, Robert Jefferson Norman and Austin Hugh Norman.
