Irene Wilma Abbott, 89, of Cumming (formerly of Bowie, MD) died on March 17, 2010 at Embracing Hospice House. Born in Egypt, AR, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Susie Henley. Her beloved husband, Hershell Abbott preceded her in death.
Irene is survived by her daughters, Janice Lester of Green Valley, AZ, Judith Blanchard of Crofton, MD and Sharon Durant of Cumming; son, Michael Abbott of Benson, AZ; and 6 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
