Norman E. Fowler, age 62, of Buford died Thursday, March 11, 2010. Funeral service will be held Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Danny Ashworth will officiate. Interment will follow in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 10:00 AM - noon and 2:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Fowler is survived by his wife, Mary Fowler, Buford; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanie and Paul Black, Gainesville, Heather and Stanley Whitt, Flowery Branch; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeremy and Melissa Fowler, Jefferson, Greg and Sarah Fowler, Buford; grandchildren, Alex Black, Kenna Black, Clayton Black, Sydney Whitt and Isabella Fowler; brothers, James Fowler, AK, Pete Fowler, Mineral Bluff, Farrish Fowler, NC; sisters, Evelyn Ledford, Mineral Bluff, Elsie Nazerine, McCaysville, Betty Fowler, TX and Mary Fowler, TX; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Fowler was a native of Blue Ridge, GA and a life long resident of the area. He was a supervisor with Tapp Lumber Company and a member of Crossview Baptist Church, Hoschton.
