Lila Mae Gray

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Lila Mae Gray, age 65, of Homer who died early Monday morning, March 8, 2010 at her residence. Born in Royston, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Maebelle Alfred Couch and was the widow of Douglas Gray. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Burgoff.

Survivors include sons, Kimsey Gray of Pendergrass, Richard Gray of Carnesville, Victor George Gray and Douglas Axl Gray, both of Homer; daughters, Connie D. Fountain of Homer and Kathy Burton of Toccoa; step-son, Eduardo Ruiz of Homer; brothers, Bobby Couch of Danielsville, Tommy Couch of Commerce, Alfred Couch of Homer and Buddy Couch of Arcade; sister, Barbara Couch of Commerce; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and special friend Charles Gibson.

Funeral services for Lila Mae Gray will be conducted on Wednesday, March 10th at 11:00am from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. James Dumas officiating. Interment will follow in the Banks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 9th from 6:00 to 9:00pm.
