Willie Mae Savage

Funeral services are scheduled for Willie Mae Savage, age 94, of Doraville. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in Strickland Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Kyle Savage will officiate.

Mrs. Savage passed away peacefully Sunday, March 7, 2010. She was born in Hall County on May 6, 1915. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon D. Savage; her daughter, Betty Octeau and a son, Truman Savage. She is survived by her daughters, Marie Howard, Montine Beasley and son, Wayne Savage, eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Mae was a longtime resident of Doraville and an Avon Representative for 40 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a blessing to all that knew her - a great woman of faith reflecting the love of Jesus Christ.
