Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Kathy Elaine Jones, 48, of Maysville who died on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at NE Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Lelia Redmon of Maysville and the late Richard Redmon. Along with her mother, survivors include her husband, Todd Jones of the residence; son, Cole Jones of Maysville; sisters, Debra Gaines of Commerce, Linda Evans of Maysville, Barbara Thomas of Hull, Vicky Snipes of Commerce, Tracy Anderson of Commerce, Pat Chatham of Jefferson; brothers, Donald Redmon of Commerce, Rickey Redmon of Maysville, Ronnie Redmon of Lula, Mitchell Redmon of Maysville.

Funeral services for Kathy Elaine Jones will be conducted on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 1:00pm from the Mt. View Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, March 5th, from 6:00 to 9:00pm. The body will lie in state at the church for 30 minutes prior to the service.
