Gary Lynn Erwin

Gary Lynn Erwin, 62, of Gainesville passed away March 4, 2010 at his residence following a sudden illness.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, March 14, 2010, 1:00 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after the service.

Mr. Erwin was born August 22, 1947 to Gertrude Reynolds and Farris Erwin. Mr. Erwin served in the United States Air Force and was a salesman with Hayes Chrysler. Gary is preceded in death by his father Farris Erwin, his brother Jimmy Erwin and his father-in-law Melvin L. Hagler.

Survivors include his wife Denise H. Erwin of Gainesville, son Joseph A. Riley of Atlanta, daughter and friend Ashley L. Erwin and Jason Williams of Atlanta, daughter Shannon Erwin of Panama City FL, grandson Ethan Lee Riley of Atlanta, grandchildren Christopher, Cody, Alexandria, and Max all of Panama City FL., mother Gertrude Erwin of Hazard KY, brother Tommy Erwin of Hazard KY, daughter-in-law Wendy Riley of Atlanta, mother-in-law Edwina Hagler of Fort Walton Beach FL, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Bob and Becky Eichelberger of Duluth, and a host of nieces and nephews.
