Ray Benjamin Gearing

Mr. Ray Benjamin Gearing, age 64, of Nicholson, GA died Saturday February 27, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Gearing was born in Horry County, SC, to the late, F. and Annie Scarbrough Gearing. Mr. Gearing owned his own stump grinding business.

Mr. Gearing is survived by his wife; Shirley Duncan Gearing of Nicholson, GA, step-son; James Davis of Lexington, GA, step-daughters; Tracy Mallory of Eastville, GA, and Shelia Underwood of Decatur, GA.

Funeral service will be Tuesday 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Kesler officiating with the interment following at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6-8 PM.
