Ms. Mary Joanne Lewis, age 75, of Alpharetta passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 after a year-long illness. She was born on February 25, 1934 in Washington, DC. She was a long-term resident of the Atlanta area. Ms. Lewis was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Garrett Lewis and father, Thomas W. Lewis Sr.
Survivors include her brother, Thomas W. Lewis, Jr. of Cumming; sister-in-law, Thelma Lewis; sister, Martha Sullivan of Fuquay-Varena, NC; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 26, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Roswell United Methodist Church.
