John Alwyn Horn, age 65, of Eatonton passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010. John was a loving husband, father, and son. He also was a veteran and served his country in Vietnam. John was retired from General Motors-Doraville Plant after 31 years of service. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. John attended Manley Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Vivian H. Horn; wife, Sandra Horn; sons and daughter-in-law, John and Kathy Morris and Robert Horn; brother, Stuart Horn; nephew, Skyler Horn of Port Charlotte, Fl.; several cousins and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 26th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Camp Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 24, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 25th, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
