Allen Thomas Lawrence

Allen Thomas Lawrence, age 92, of Dacula died Saturday, February 20, 2010. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church, Dacula. Rev. Jason Mincey will officiate.

Mr. Lawrence is preceded in death by his wife Billie Lawrence. He is survived by his children, Allen H. and Sandra Lawrence, Silver Springs, FL, Amy and Ken Chadwick, Dacula, Jay and Judy Lawrence, Milledgeville, Tommy and Sheryl Lawrence, Crawfordville; grandchildren, Ingle and Jeff Ard, Suwanee, Kitt and Mark Miller, Lawrenceville, Allison Lawrence, Atlanta.

Mr. Lawrence was born in Athens, Georgia and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 55 years. He was a retired Lt. Colonel in the US Air Force, a P51 Mustang Fighter Pilot during WWII. He was a lifelong Harley Davidson enthusiast and rode across America in the 1930â
