Leo Thaddeus Comeau, age 89, of Lawrenceville died Saturday, February 20, 2010. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ernest Forrester will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Comeau was preceded in death by his wife Marie I. Comeau. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Linda Comeau, Suwanee; grandchildren, Lori Comeau, Lawrenceville, Leigh and Paul Stevenson, Lawrenceville, April and Rob Weaver, FL, Amy and Tom Dolce, Suwanee; great-grandchildren, Amanda Stevenson, Christopher Umschid, Nicholas Weaver, Hannah Dolce, Jillian Stevenson, Sarah Dolce, Ronnie Stevenson.
Mr. Comeau was born in Canada and lived in the metro Atlanta area the past 13 years. He was self employed and a US Army Combat Veteran of WWII.
