Mr. James Lonnie Gibson, age 66, of Murrayville, GA died Thursday Feb 18, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.
Mr. Gibson was born in Lumpkin County and lived most of his life in Hall County.
He was of the Baptist faith. He owned and operated Gibson Mobile Home sales and service in Murrayville for 36 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, E.L. Gibson Sr.; and stepfather, Price Sullens.
He is survived by his wife, Ginny Gibson, Murrayville, GA; mother, Bertha Sullens, Murrayville, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Kenneth Crumley, Gainesville, GA, Jamie and Mark Payne, Murrayville, GA, Mandie and Chris Kidd, Cleveland, GA; son, James William Gibson, Murrayville, GA; 9 grandchildren; brothers, J.C. Gibson, Murrayville, GA, Carl Gibson, Cleveland, GA, and E.L. Gibson Jr, Gainesville, GA; sisters, Shirley Freeman, South Dakota, and Darlene Wade, Gainesville, GA. A number of other relatives also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday Feb. 20, 2010, at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega. Rev. Brian Johnson and Rev. Dean Bryant will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 PM until 9 PM and again on Saturday until time of the service.
Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of the arrangements.
