Mr. William Kenneth Dunlap, age 73, of Braselton passed away Tuesday February 16, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Dunlap was born April 24, 1936 in Gwinnett County to the late Leon Clinton & Mary Irene Long Dunlap. He was served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Blackshear Place Baptist Church, where he was active in the Young at Heart Sunday School class.
Survivors include his wife Betty Dunlap of Braselton; daughter, Pamela Dunlap of Braselton; daughter and son-in-law, Patti & Steve Clark of Braselton; sister, Wilma Brewster of Knoxville, TN; brothers, Don Dunlap of Zephyr Hills, Florida, and Jim Dunlap of Spring Hill, Florida.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010 with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Mason & Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Dunlap will then return home to Tennessee to receive friends on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by funeral services and burial on Saturday, February 20th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Smokey Mountain Chapel Memory Gardens in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Young at Heart Sunday School class at Blackshear Place Baptist Church 3428 Atlanta Highway, Flowery Branch, Georgia 30542.
