Mr. Robert Wayne Carmical, Sr., age 71, of Flowery Branch passed away Monday, February 15, 2010.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Veteran section of Memorial Park South Cemetery. Pastor Dave Davis will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the funeral home.
Mr. Carmical was the son of the late Ira Caldwell Carmical and Mary Kate (Walker) Carmical. He served as a member of the United States Coast Guard. Mr. Carmical loved his family dearly and was also very fond of all sports including golfing, fishing and gardening.
Mr. Carmical is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Gloria Patricia Carmical of Flowery Branch; daughter, Tricia A. Williams, Braselton; daughter Kathy L. Wilson and husband, Eric of Buford; son, Robert Wayne Carmical, Jr. and wife Pamela, Madison, AL; brother, Charles Everette Carmical,Sr., Hampton; sister, Dorothy Cannon and husband, Ray of Loganville; sister, Katherine McGehee and husband, Hank of Perry; sister, Mary Frances Andrews and husband, Johnny of Gainesville; sister Marjorie Dollar and husband, Clifford of Buford; grandchildren, Kelsey, Drew, Chandler, Zachary, Nicole, Natalie and Reagan.
