Veronica Underwood Dupree

Veronica Underwood Dupree of Gainesville was a devout Christian who went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 11, 2010.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Lakewood Baptist Church. Mrs. Dupree will lie in state at the church from 1:30 pm until the funeral hour. Interment to follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, Cumming. Dr. Jerry Gill and Dr. Tom Smiley will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 13, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dupree was born January 24, 1959 in Oak Ridge, TN to Granvel Underwood and Elsie Gambrell Underwood. Veronica was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Veronica was a gifted artist who founded Veronicaâ
