A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2010 in the Chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home for Linda D. Brechter, 52, of Gainesville who passed away at her residence Tuesday, February 9, 2010 following an extended illness. The Rev. John Samples will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Born in Gladstone, MO, she had lived in Gainesville since 2003. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant and Senior Associate at UBS.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Brechter of Gainesville; daughter, Michelle Duncan of Gainesville; son, Matthew Duncan of Gainesville; stepsons, Bart Brechter and Aaron Brechter, both of Houston, TX; stepdaughters, Lori Jordan of Houston, TX, and Amy Gremer of Seattle, WA; mother and stepfather, Marjorie and Ralph Williams of Sun Lakes, AZ; brothers, George Bowen, Jr of Sedalia, MO, David Bowen of Burke, VA. and Stephen Bowen of Gladstone, MO; sister, Brenda Bowen of Gladstone, MO; 12 step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
