Virginia Mann Chandler

Mrs. Virginia Mann Chandler, age 82, of Commerce died Monday, February 8, 2010 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Chandler was born in Putnam County to the late Roy and Ora Bell Adams Mann. Mrs. Chandler was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Commerce. Mrs. Chandler was preceded in death by her husband; Stewart Dixon Chandler.

Mrs. Chandler is survived by her daughter; Judy Harbin of Commerce; son, Larry S. Chandler of Young Harris; brothers, Bobby Mann of Stone Mountain, Donald Mann of Cumming and Gerald Mann of Elberton; sister, Betty Bennett of Athens, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Thursday, February 11th at 11:00 am from the First Baptist Church of Commerce with the Dr. Carlton Allen, Dr. David Bowen, and Lee Ritchie officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night, February 10th, from 6:00-8:00 pm.
