Little and Davenport Funeral Home of Gainesville announces the death of Hubert "Bud" Collins, 78, of Gainesville died Friday, February 6, 2010 from an extended illness.
Mr. Collins is preceded in death by his parents, L. M. and Enda Winter Collins, and Jeremy Smith, Timothy Smith and David Smith. He was a native of Monroe. He served in the Marines Corp, and retired from the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of the Springway Baptist Church.
Services will be held from the chapel of Little and Davenport Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. interment will be in the Springway Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 9th, from 2:00 till 4:00 and 6:00 till 8:00 p.m.
