Alvin R. Seabolt

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4, 2010 in the Chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home for Alvin R. Seabolt, 72, of Murrayville. The Rev. Wilburn Peeples will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

He was the son of P.P. Seabolt and Annie Kanady Seabolt. He was retired from General Motors. He was a member of Corinth Baptist church. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son Robert Alvin Seabolt, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Harper Seabolt of Murrayville; daughter, Rhonda Smith of Lula; grandson, David Corey Smith of Murrayville; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Seabolt of Dallas, GA; and sister, Bertha Little of Oakwood.
