Mr. Robert W. Herbert, age 80, of Eatonton, GA died Saturday January 23, 2010 at the Eatonton Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Herbert was born in Jackson County to the late, James E. and Vera Boone Herbert. Mr. Herbert was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was a retired steakhouse restaurant owner. Mr. Herbert was preceded in death by his wife; Mary Herbert.
Mr. Herbert is survived by a number of friends.
Graveside service will be Monday 2:00 PM from the Grey Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Turner and Rev. David Hall officiating with the interment following in Grey Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12- 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
