Laura Looper

Mrs. Laura Looper, age 101 of Cumming, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2010. She was the oldest member of Friendship Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Felton Looper and her daughter Audrey Wright.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Warren and Eddie Looper of Dahlonega and Gary and Robin Looper of Cumming; daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth Sutton and fiancé David Fordham of Cumming, Janie Cox of Cumming, Barbara and Glenn Mullinax of Cumming and Kathy and Herb Sams of Canton; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 24, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Sutton and Rev. Eddie Caine officiating. Entombment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 23rd from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
