B.B. Perry

B. B. Perry, age 75 of Mt Airy, passed away Friday, January 22, 2010, at his residence following a sudden illness.

Born in Habersham County, GA on August 19, 1934, he was the son of the late Floyd and Maebell Fry Perry. Mr. Perry was a carpenter and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed gardening and playing his guitar. In addition to his parents, Mr. Perry was also preceded in death by sister, Bonnie Nix and brother, Bert Perry.

Surviving are brothers and sisters-in-law, Earnest & Lillian Perry and Eugene & Carolyn Perry all of Mt. Airy and Phil & Wanda Perry of Cornelia; sister, Dorothy Perry of Macon; sisters & brothers-in-law, Ovaline & Sidney Abernathy and Genevieve & Kirby Ward all of Calhoun; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2:00 pm Sunday, January 24, 2010, from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart. Interment will follow in Glade Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Saturday.
