Hoyte Elem

Mr. Hoyte Elem, age 64, of Commerce died Monday, January 18, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Elem was born in Walton County to the late Roland and Edna England Elem. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a retired welder.

Mr. Elem is survived by his daughters, Jessaca Elem of MI, Barbie Elem of Monroe and Tonie Elem of Buford; son, Hoyte Elem, Jr. of Athens; sister, Betty Brown of Commerce; and brother, William Elem of Jefferson.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 20, from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Clack officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 6:00-8:00 PM.
