James R. Lee, 55, of Dawsonville died Monday January 18, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness.
Born June 25, 1954 to the late Rufus and Nellie Lee, he lived most of his life in Forsyth County. Mr. Lee formerly worked as a carpenter after which he was employed by Joe K. Smith Trucking. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and was also preceded in death by several sisters and brothers.
Surviving are his wife of 11 years, Linda Gail Lee, Dawsonville; children, Christie Lee, Cumming, Annie and Steven Robertson, Forsyth County, Wayne Kuykendoll, Cumming, William Kuykendoll, Cumming; brothers and sister-in-law, Ronald and Sherry Lee, Cumming, Tommy Joe Lee, Stone Mountain, Timothy Ray Lee, Milledgeville, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday January 21, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Randy Wheeler and Rev. Doug Callahan will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 19th, and all day Wednesday, January 20th, at the funeral home.
