Mr. Franklin D. Payne, age 62, a native and life-long resident of Forsyth County passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, JoAnn Payne of Cumming; children, Joey D. Payne and Jennifer, Janie R. Brooks & Matt and Johnny D. Payne and Mary all of Cumming; grandchildren, Chelsea Payne, Katlin Brooks and Jada Payne; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donny and Cheryl Payne, Louis and Barbara Payne and Adie Payne; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Tanner, Evalina and John Turner, Vivian and Kenneth Newberry and Linda and Frank Lewis; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Payne and Rev. Ricky Bradford officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, January 15th from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
