Eric Livingston McLendon

Eric Livingston McLendon, 85, of Gainesville passed away Saturday January 9, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.



Memorial services will be held Monday January 11, 2010 at 7pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Winter officiating. The family will receive friends from 6pm-7pm Monday at the funeral home.



Mr. McLendon was born January 30, 1924 in Tampa Fl to the late Clarence and Genevive McLendon. He was a retired Lt. Col. with the United States Army and a member of First United Methodist Church of Gainesville. Mr. McLendon worked for Graybar Electric Co in Orlando Fl for 25 years.



He is survived by his wife of 65 years Albertine â
