Mr. Charles Elmo Shaw, age 70, of Braselton, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, January 9, 2010, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Memorial Park South Cemetery. Pastor Phil Carpenter will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, January 8, 2010 at the funeral home.
Mr. Shaw was born in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late Reverend Creghton Hayes Shaw and Katie Ruth (Roberts) Shaw. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Shaw had many loves including the Lord, his family, music, playing guitar and traveling.
Mr. Shaw is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lois Shaw of Braselton; daughters and sons-in-laws, Cyndi and Charles Pinion of Braselton; Wanda and Charles Perkins of Loganville; Meredith and Kevin Brown of Braselton; sister, Hazel Frazier of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Amanda, Danielle, Jessica, Chadd, Crayton, Charlie, Chaz, Shaun, Ray, and Gena; great-grandchildren, Myranda, Rusty, Luke, and Dallas; and special best friend, Donald Holcomb of Hoschton; and a host of beloved family and friends.
