Connie Lou Tinsley, 54, of Dawsonville died Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Northside Forsyth Hospital following a period of declining health.
A lifelong resident of Dawson County, she was a 1973 honor graduate of Dawson County High School and along with her husband, they owned and operated North Georgia Contractors. Connie was a devoted wife and mother and was loved by all. She was a member of Tinsley Chapel and was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica April Sunshine Tinsley.
Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Hubert D. Tinsley, Jr., Dawsonville; sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph Hubert and Tonya Tinsley, Dawsonville, Jonathan and Jill Tinsley, Dawsonville, Jacob and Lucretia Tinsley, Dawsonville; mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Ernest McGill, Dawsonville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Jerry Mulkey, Dawsonville, Donnie and Tim Tatum, Dawsonville, brother and sister-in-law, Rodney and Jane Padgett, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Cody Tinsley, Caitlin Tinsley, Montana Tinsley, Chloe Tinsley, Summer Tinsley, Kaitlyn Howard, Kayla Howard, Lane Tinsley, Hannah Tinsley, Isabella Tinsley, Ruby Tinsley, and Bryson Tinsley.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Hubert D. Tinsley, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in the Tinsley Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 5:30 pm Monday, January 4, 2010 and all day Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the funeral home.
