Olive Kiser Teal

Olive Kiser Teal, age 99, of Clarkesville, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2010 after an extended illness.

Mrs. Teal lived the American Dream. She was born into a dirt-floored Kansas dugout on December 7, 1910 to the late Jay and Dessie Kiser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett A. Teal, and her three sisters, Arrawanna Kiser, Jesse Opal Fraser and Martha J. Neff.

Olive married Everett A. Teal in May of 1934 and they were married for 58 years, living most of their lives together in Bethlehem, PA. While living in Bethlehem, PA, Mrs. Teal was president of the Bethlehem Chapter of American Association of University Women and President of the Lehigh University Womenâ
