Mrs. Eller Florine Hurt Bottoms, age 92, of Cumming, passed away Monday, January 4, 2010. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Jay Bottoms; parents, Thomas and Ellen Hurt; sisters, Nellie Pruitt, Annie Mae Holbrook and Mary Cawthon; brothers, Harold Hurt, Johnny Hurt and C.B. Hurt.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Helen Bottoms of Tucker and Dennis and Sandra Bottoms and Lynn Bottoms all of Cumming; daughters and sons-in-law, Hellon & Doyle Ledbetter of Douglasville and Bernice and Richard Parrott of Cumming; sister, Rozelle Turner of Austell; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Coffey, Rev. Robert Martin and Rev. Harold Bottoms officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 5th from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday, January 6th from 11:00 am until time of service. Mrs. Bottoms will lie in state at the church beginning at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, January 6th.
