Peggy Ann Burgess

Mrs. Peggy Ann Burgess, age 77, of Cumming, GA passed away Friday, January 1, 2010. She was a member of Deer Creek Shore Presbyterian Church and was proceeded in death by her husband, Hill Moore Burgess; son, Robert Millis, parents, Edna T. and Charles C. Drummond and sister, Patricia Drummond.

Mrs. Burgess was a retired Forsyth County School Teacher who taught at Coal Mountain Elementary, Chestatee Elementary, North Forsyth Middle, Otwell Elementary and Cumming Elementary schools.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Mary Beth Burgess of Cumming; grandchildren, Amanda Millis and Christian Haygood; several cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 4, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Tarrant and Rev. John Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 3rd from 4:00 noon until 9:00 pm and Monday, January 4th from 12:00 pm until the hour of service.
