Annie Christine Rodriquez, 93, of Gainesville passed away December 26, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at 2:00pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Buice officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 5pm-8pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rodriquez was born August 21, 1916 to the late Rev. Newt F. Flanagan and Sarah Melvina Helton. Mrs. Rodriquez was employed by Fielddale Farms for 27 years and was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 3 brothers, a good friend Glenn Young, 2 grandsons Stacey Gibbs and Smitty Joe Turner, and 1 great-grandson Joseph Bennett
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Betty Jo and Joseph Turner of Cleveland, daughter and son-in-law Joan and Gene Gibbs of Gainesville, son Frank Warren Cowart of Gainesville, 2 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
