Willie Stevens

Willie Mae Stevens, 73, of Gainesville passed away Monday December 28, 2009 at Dekalb Medical Center following an extended illness.



Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 30, 2009 at 11am from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Rex Fuller and Rev. Tommy Dale officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday December 29, 2009 from 5pm-9pm at the funeral home.



Ms. Stevens was born August 28, 1936 in Union County to the late Ernest and Wilda Ash. Ms. Stevens was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Stevens, daughter Machell Kanady, brother Doyle Ash and sister Geneva McGuigan.
